Goblee Smith is an author who has dedicated his career to educating and inspiring children through his books on Black history and Black people. Born and raised in a predominantly Black community, Goblee has always been passionate about sharing the stories and experiences of his community with a wider audience.After earning a degree in African American Studies from a prestigious university, Goblee began working as a teacher in inner-city schools, where he witnessed firsthand the impact that a lack of representation in children's literature can have on young Black students. Determined to make a difference, Goblee turned to writing and began creating stories that would celebrate and uplift Black voices.Through his books, Goblee aims to provide young readers with a sense of pride in their heritage and a greater understanding of the struggles and triumphs of Black people throughout history. His works have been praised for their authenticity, sensitivity, and engaging storytelling, and have earned him a loyal following of readers of all ages.When he's not writing, Goblee can often be found visiting schools and libraries to share his love of reading and history with young audiences.
