Welcome!I'm Jaimee Z. Canty, and in 2014 I started Greeting Card Joy, an online greeting card and centerpiece business. This destiny-based company is more than an LLC for me. It encompasses my love for writing, my passion for art and design, and my preference for distinct artistic expression. Initially, I called my company Jaimee's Hand-Designed Greeting Cards, but in 2019, I began using the name "Greeting Card Joy," to better describe the happiness, motivation, and enthusiasm I invest in creating each and every unique handmade greeting card and centerpiece. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Print Journalism, a Master of Arts Degree in English, and will soon be completing a Master of Arts Degree in the Teaching of Secondary (High-School Level) English Language Arts. As an English Language Arts and writing teacher, I'm passionate about creating innovative essay, reading, literature, and grammar assignments. I have been instructing classes at community centers, school, and local organizations for the past 19 years. I teach English Language Arts with a high school based program at a local university, and I instruct adult high schoolers at the community college level. In January of 2021, I published a collectible picture book entitled: "Handmade Greeting Cards: Picture Book of Plush Toy & Stuffed Animal Cards & Centerpieces for the Birthday, Holiday & Every Day!" This new book is a 168-item photo compilation of cards, centerpieces, and artwork hand-created by Jaimee Z. Canty over the past 14 years. The hard copy book is available in print as a single book, and on Kindle as a part of a series featuring five separate e-books. I've also published several other books here on Amazon, including: “Thinking Outside the Paintbrush,” “Creatively Speaking,” and “A Cup of Creativity & A Spoonful of Artistry.” My books are primarily motivational and inspirational mini books. In some of the books, I add in tidbits about how I felt as I created something or why I chose the items featured in my artwork. My most recent line of centerpieces, called "Fluffy Friend-ables," feature a miniature plush toy stuffed animal, colorful artwork, and loads of fun!
