Kris Szabo has always loved reading and writing. Ever since she was a little girl she dreamed of becoming a published author. She grew up playing school in her basement with her stuffed animals. Starting her journey as an elementary and special education teacher, Kris soon found herself in the role of a school administrator, where she had the joy of collaborating with amazing teachers, students, and families for nearly 32 years.Grateful for her time in education, Kris now spends her days indulging in her creative pursuits: writing, painting, practicing yoga, and cherishing moments with her cherished family. Nestled in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and their furry companions Bailey & Charley.
