"I am of the species Scrondok," Altair said, putting his hand on his snout. The movement was so foreign to me that I burst out in laughter.

Maybe it was the lack of human contact for so many years or the unexpected fact that my pen pal lover was an alien, but it all came out of me in the biggest laughing fit I ever had. Altair looked surprised but soon joined me until I had to sit down from laughing too hard.
