We are Nadiya Goncharova and Serge Goncharov, a family from Ukraine, who have dedicated almost 20 years of our lives to industrial mushroom cultivation, working as technologists in various mushroom production facilities, building and establishing new enterprises, creating projects and fine-tuning technologies. We have many years of experience in this field and are ready to share interesting and valuable knowledge in our book. At first, mushroom growing was just a hobby for us. However, over time it has become more than a hobby, it has become a profession and a field for creativity. Our family is a real team. We are known by many experts in this field in Ukraine, because mushroom growing in our country is at a high level. We are frequent speakers at various seminars and forums, such as UHPDB and UMDIS. We will offer you a series of books dealing with different levels of mushroom cultivation: small (home or family, up to 1000 kg/2204 lbs of mushrooms per month), medium (up to 3000 kg/6613 lbs of mushrooms per month) and large (up to 10000-20000 kg/22046-44092 lbs of mushrooms per month). All of our books include detailed author photographs that clarify many aspects of mushroom growing and answer many questions. We have been fortunate enough to build and run all these levels of mushroom growing businesses, so we are happy to share our experience in our publications. The first book focuses on a small family business that can be set up in your own home with minimal effort. My wife and I have no special training in mycology or biology, but we have a lot of practical experience in mushroom growing businesses, so our practical knowledge will be more helpful.
