As a retired school teacher, I am finding new ways to express myself to others, which includes a longtime hobby of writing. I have published articles in educator, pet, and religious magazines and have written a children's book, though only dreamed of publishing a book. I finally discovered a subject worthy of plunging into the unknown when encountering the reality of a personal God. He had watched me for decades search and stumble until I landed in a pit with nowhere to turn but to Him. I wrote my first book about this journey to help fellow seekers not make the same mistakes as me. If it helps only one, it is worth it.Besides writing, I have many interests such as politics, traveling, gardening, the arts, sports, nature, aviation, Bible study, home decoration, pets, reading, painting, and loving my grandchildren. With this many paths to follow, it is no wonder that some have called me intense. Perhaps it is because when I believe in something or someone, it is with a passion. Being an introvert, my passion is mostly a quiet one, yet I draw strength from still waters that run deep.Though everyone's future is uncertain, there is one thing I am convinced will occur, the Return of the Lord for His people. I plan to continue my days preparing loved ones, friends, and strangers for this majestic event. Man makes plans, but God guides our steps. Therefore, I am uncertain of how to share this--whether by writing, teaching scripture, speaking to others, or all of the above.
