But no one can know who she is; her powerful family would make things worse, not better. In Motor Girl, greed rules the world.

It controls everything except the heart. Josaline is at a disadvantage; those she loves constantly suffer from everything set against them.

But she refuses to sit by and do nothing. All the prejudice and danger in the world couldn't stop Josaline from helping her family.

Nor could it prevent her from falling in love with Yuuto. Both of which have her acting in illicit behavior, where Josaline will have to race -literally- to save the ones she loves.

In this speculation world, the ones with money (Gildes) have the power. The more money you have, the more control.

Hence why Josaline's family, owners of all automotive companies, helped with the construction of the New World after the economic crash decades ago. And to make sure they kept their power, they made rules and laws that made it even harder for anyone with less money and social standing (Mutes) to rise.

Laws like the power to strip a Mute of their employment without just cause and the rule that many Gilde marrying a Mute will drop to the lowest level of social standing, becoming Alloys or Plunges. This series follows Josaline as she tries to navigate a world her upbringing didn't prepare her for.

As she searches for her cousin Rene, Josaline will face danger, oppression, prejudice, and forbidden love while trying to find her place in this world. Some possible triggers: disappearance of a family member, gangs, drinking, attempted murder, minor stabbing, minor injuries, molestation/groping and ends with a cliffhanger.
