Jenna Dill is an author and high school English teacher from the Midwest. Every day, she is inspired by the beauty of words and how they have the power to shape, build and add value to human life. As her character, Sarah, learned in her novel, Sheltered, “We can find pieces of ourselves in dark places. Many fear who they will become in the darkness or what might consume them inside it. But darkness can also help us find the freedom to understand the pieces of ourselves that we can't see‒that even others can't see. In every dark piece, there's a purpose.
