It was a few years before my first dog came into my life. And they were there: the dreams, the ideas, the adventure, the companion, the romping, the closeness, the friendship, the time in nature.I dealt with the dog intuitively and instinctively. As I knew it from my grandparents, shepherds and workers, from our parents. Just like I saw and experienced there. Her dogs were well-behaved, they would not leave the property without permission, they would come when called, they were a joy to cuddle with. They were free dogs because they were controllable. I basically learned by observing the experienced and adopted it for myself. A learning strategy that dogs have been practicing for thousands of years. A proven strategy: Respect the experience of the experienced.From this, the Paw Path developed over the course of many years. A conceptual path where the dog owner is taken along as a human, along the way without practicing, training or simulating. It is looked in the paw path, where the causes lie in the relationship between man and dog. And when the causes are eliminated, the symptoms disappear. As a result, the focus for me is on the person, on their insecurities or worries. Away from the dog, because he can do it, he only has reasons to decide against the instructions of his human.There are more and more people who think that they can achieve a high level of reliability in their four-legged partner through training, repetition or conditioning. Their life experience tells them that this cannot and will not work. Reliability and loyalty are achieved through respect and trust. And neither can be trained or conditioned. And you can repeat behavior as often as you like, but that doesn't create respect. Neither trust. A trained monkey performs its conditioned behavior, but does not show affection and loyalty. This also applies to the dog. That's why you won't find any training plans, instructions for use, or sequences of actions in any of my books about dogs. The purpose of my books is to stimulate the reader and dog owner to think for themselves. To reflect on yourself and see if you really are who you want to be or if the dog sees through that you are pretending. Reflecting on yourself as to whether you are spending too much time thinking about the dog and their needs and desires instead of just living, enjoying and having fun with the wonderful dog by your side. We drive all the books about how changing your perspective on the dog can change your whole life with the dog. Because the law of resonance says clearly: every change in you always leads to a change in your dog.
