Michael D. Filippello was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of western New York. He has had his books "Miratambo Moonsong" and "In a place called Barrontippeny" published before. In June of 2024 "Miratambo Moonsong" was revised and re-released with all new artwork that Filippello created exclusively for the book. Published by Fresh Ink Group. The book is now available in hardcover, softcover and ebook formats. At this time Filippello is recreating the artwork for the next book in the series "In a place called Barrontippeny." and hopes to release the revised story again soon. Finally there is a third book in the series titled "Sweet Dreams From Cornpopple Cozy" that has never been released and Filippello has plans on releasing that one sometime next year. In addition to these stories there are several other titles that he hopes to complete and publish in the future. Mr. Filippello currently resides in the southern part of the United States with his wife of nearly thirty years,Tricia and their three pets: Marigold, Cannoli, and Paisley.
