The book begins with a salient question. “Do you have any material images of Jesus visible in your daily life?” When he asked the question to his many friends on Facebook, he could not believe the answer.

He then decided to offer a free medal of the Face of Jesus to them. Out of more than 450 friends, many of whom indicated they were Christians, only one requested a medal (included free shipping).

The author was over-whelmed with sadness and disappointment. Ergo, the book.

The book centers on the face of God and why as Scripture directs us to “seek His face” to “shine on us. ” Six images of the face of Jesus are presented in detail including the Veil of Veronica, Shroud of Turin, Divine Mercy, the Sudarium of Oviedo, the Manoppello Image and the Mandylion.

Each image tells us many wonderful and surprising aspects about Jesus’ life on earth centering on his crucifixion and resurrection and their miraculous connections to healings, prayers and devotions since Jesus ascended into heaven. If the reader wants to have God “shine on” their life, the book shows them why and images of Jesus to choose from.
