Born and raised in the Midwest, Kayla Barriger grew up in a pastor’s home, learning about the power of herbs from an early age. She was introduced to essential oils as a teenager, which ignited a passion to learn more about naturopathy. While in college, she learned that her thyroid was not functioning properly. She was told that medicine was necessary to control the issue. However, at the suggestion of a friend, she went to see Dr. Bonnie Juul and regained her health through the use of muscle testing. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Physical Science, Health Science, Music, and Natural Science) from Liberty University Online at the age of 18. Following, she received her Certificated as a Traditional Naturopath through Trinity School of Natural Health. Now serving as a Certified Traditional Naturopath at Natural Health & Wellness, with the help of Dr. Bonnie Juul, her childhood dream of opening in an office in her hometown of Harrisburg, IL has been accomplished. While serving her community as a Traditional Naturopath, she is working on completing her Master’s in Nutritional Science as well as expecting her first child.
