Marsofine Dreyer Krynauw was born in 1961 in Koekenaap, a small West Coast town on the boarder of the Namakwaland.Although she never loved reading while at school, she fell in love with poetry and writing essays during her secondary school years in Lutzville High School.She started writing poetry at the age of 16, but stopped writing after matric. She discovered the wonderful world of reading as a young adult.In 2006, for the first time since her teenage years, she took up her pen and started writing poetry again. This was also the steppingstone for her to try her hand at short stories in 2018.In February 2019 she started on a short story which ended up as her first novel, La Mirage Moorde, which was published by Malherbe Publishers. After this novel she decided to write exclusively for Malherbe Publishers.Soon after that followed Die Gemaskerde Man, Bootreis na Barbeidos and Vreemde Paaie also in 2019.She started 2020 off with Die Glans van Wraak, which was followed by Leila, Neriah, Vrou van Veld en Vlakte and Stilswye – Veraad of Liefde in the same year.In 2021 Herhaling van die verlede was published in January followed by Die Adder in haar midde, Skye – vrou van tweede kanse, Drome van gister and Tweeling van liefde is haat.Apart from the novels she has published through Malherbe Publishers, she published her own poetry book, Woorde wat waai in 2017. Her poems and short stories were also taken up in 18 different books together with works of other poems and authors.In 2022 she published another poetry book - Spore in which you will have the opportunity to walk with her beloved Namakwaland, with its wildflower beauty and Namibia with its unique sanddunes. The two great loves of her life.At this stage her writing career has grown wings and up to May 2024 she has publised 31 books in different genres. She enjoy writing about topics that are kept silent in the modern day era, like human trafficing, organ trafficing, drug exploitation, etc. She does also write love stories, but non of her stories will just be a love story, there will always be a element of mistery in as well.Her 28th book, Waar is jou hart, will be publish in the next few weeks, and will be available on Amazon immediately.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
