Patricia Mae Emrie was born in Springfield, Missouri on July 8, 1950. The youngest of three children, two sons and a daughter. She grew up wanting to be a nurse but changed her mind after her first child was born. She always had a passion for caregiving and where better to do that than for your own children and grandchildren. A lifelong stay at home mom was considered a privilege to her that so few mothers were fortunate enough to enjoy. Her and her husband lived on a quaint little farm not far from town where there was a host of pets and barnyard animals. Horses, cows, rabbits, cats, kittens, chickens and roosters, dogs and even a half dozen emu. A lifestyle that many only dream of raising their children in.Patricia loved donating her time and talents to anyone that needed help. She loved being a home room mother and Sunday school teacher for her five children. She has a very creative imagination that is on full display in this delightful children’s book. She waited many years to pursue her dream of being an author.
