I was born and raised in Kimball, Minnesota. I lived there with my parents and three sisters. I moved away with my husband (boyfriend/fiancé at the time) to Texas where he was stationed in the Army. We went through many things together as he did two different tours overseas. We came back to Minnesota when he was done serving where we decided to get married and eventually had our three children. I write poetry and I did get some of them published. One was published with International Poets Society, and another was with Noble House in New York, NY. I got a medal for my writing as well as a few awards. I went to school for Psychology, but I stopped with a Bachelor of Science to homeschool my children. My children are the reason I like to write children's books. My books will always revolve around lessons that I believe children can benefit from. Things like love, compassion, courage, faith, rescuing animals, manners, and character. These are all things and more that will find a place in the books I write for kids. Different choices are made, and they see how the light changes with those choices. It is tough being a kid and not knowing when to make the right choice or if any consequence or negative impact can be taken back once the choice has been made.

Not knowing if anyone sees them differently or if they are still loved by Jesus can be worrisome. .
