My name is Anna Lankford. I live in Sparta, North Carolina. I am married and I have 2 children. I am a content creator on twitch and You Tube. I published my first book on May 5th, 2024, and it was mainly a catharsis. Most of my life, I have worked in Sales - I started working at JC Penny selling jewelry and then decided to pursue Mary Kay. I was a Sales Director with Mary Kay for a short period of time and that's what made me want to go back to school for business administration. Then I opened a clothing store in North Wilkesboro called Anna's on Main. I've also done e-commerce through Posh mark, e-Bay, and Facebook. My book is a memoir, but it focuses on the most memorable times in my life which unfortunately happened to be the most difficult times. The short story may seem unbelievable, but I think that's mainly because some people don't want to believe it. Publishing this book was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I know that it doesn't put me in the best light, but I feel that there are lessons to be learned even though most people would never find themselves in situations like the ones I experienced. I actually brought most of the challenges I wrote about on myself, but I learned so much about life that I decided to publish Light and Dark because I wanted others to understand the lessons that I learned without experiencing the traumatic and painful things that I did.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
