Not only to have a profound impact in her town, community, and to society, but to fulfill her thirst for knowledge. " If you have the means, the drive, and the discipline to further your education, do it, it will always serve you in a positive way." -EPM. She will always encourages learning, "If one can create opportunities for themselves and their family, it's a no brainer."-EPM.Growing up the author used writing as an outlet, as a way to get organized and calm herself so she could make sense of difficult situations. Often, she would use her skill to just escape in her head. Sometimes, she would rewrite history and aid the ending to more of her liking. Little did she know back then, that this was in fact an exceptionally useful physiological tool. One in which she became aware of in college years. Furthermore; exercising it through therapy. Follow Erica's journey and you will find that she is quite fond of psychology and the human brain.Becoming a published author was a lifelong dream, that is now, finally, unfolding.Erica's inspiration and motivation to finally dive deep into a life she had hoped and dreamed about living, is all thanks to her indelible children. Sure, she has been doing the background work for years, degree in (ECE) early childhood education and developmental science, but after her first born she really wanted to do something that would make him proud. Soon after turning it into something they, two children, could continue to bond over and/ or document in a more significant way. She may not have foreseen this as her entry into this career, but is," absolutely delighted" with the reveal. She is confident her books will make a difference in the world, even if in this "small" way, that is actually a big deal to so many. Erica may not be the novelist she aspires to be yet, though she will be, this is such a rich and meaningful way to start her career. "Over the course of writing my first children's book series, "Life with Mimbo the Hippo- Mimbo's arrival" (first book is now available everywhere) it became more and more of a profound higher calling, and purpose for the greater good. In my books I include a specialized font to help dyslexic readers to hone and master their reading and comprehension skills. A development made by one of my indelible inspirations.I am honored to offer such a specific and helpful tool to those that struggle with dyslexia.I am and have always been a firm believer in teaching individuals the way they learn. We all learn in our own ways, instead of pushing said individuals into a box of a select few ways of learning, let's open up our ways of teaching them.This has become a bigger accomplishment than I anticipated. Even though I am in the entry of it all, no matter the outcome, I am honored, delighted, enthusiastic, and darn right intoxicated to make this dream of mine come true. I am excited to make memorable connections with my readers. Connections in which, not all writers are privy to.
