I know my book might be difficult for some readers, but that doesn’t stop the author from innovating and developing herself. I wrote it with an open mind and my readers can ask and reason it from their perspective.

I don’t dare to think about success yet, but I like to use words to be immersed, fly and feel peaceful. I borrowed the image of a lemon tree to express myself.

You will feel so strange why it is a lemon tree and why a lemon tree produces sweet fruit. In English, “lemon” also means a useless person.

We don't just live because of compliments or stop because of criticism. Use negativity as fertilizer so the lemon tree can grow.

Even if the land is barren, as long as there is sun, your tree can still reach out to receive the sunlight. Another meaning I want to mention here, to explain why it’s “sweet fruit”, this is so contrary to nature.

Everyone believes that lemons must be sour, that is the law of nature. Society is like a printer, from our family we have to follow the traditions left by our ancestors.

From school we have to memorize and follow what the textbooks say. When a person has a creative mind and wants to do something different, it seems like the whole society wants to get rid of her.

"The fruit of a lemon tree will always be sour and will never be allowed to produce sweet fruit. " They think it's harmful, she's ruining the good tradition that her ancestors built up over the years.

That girl is a rare lemon with a sweet taste that seems to be appreciated but is toxic in the eyes of others. As long as she knows her value and lives in any environment, she can be "sweet" in her own way.

And my final message, everyone has the right to love and be loved. If you eat lemon right away, it will be sour, but if you process it, you can make a lemon-flavored cake.

Just like when you meet someone who truly loves you, all your flaws also become beautiful in that person's eyes. No matter what, you still have your own flavor, so find a way to innovate it instead of feeling inferior about yourself.
