Although Carol White Llewellyn first began storytelling in sixth grade, once out of school, her writing turned to "the dark side" and she wrote primarily in a marketing capacity.She returned to her penchant for storytelling when she took a documentary filmmaking class and began telling stories through media, for which, to date, she won six Telly Awards and was a Field Producer on the Emmy Award-winning Film WOMEN AND THE VOTE.In 2015, she collaborated with Debra Ross, the publisher of KidsOutAndAbout, a family-oriented online guide to arts, culture and recreation on Ross' book SEASONS AND REASONS: A PARENT's GUIDE TO CULTIVATING GREAT KIDS. She contributed book design and photography to accompany Ross' text.Two year later, Ross invited her to help launch and become Editor of a sister publication, Beyond the Nest, targeted at empty-nesters. It was through this role that she returned to creative writing, often infusing humor into her weekly columns. As she says, "I generally tend to shoot my humor-infused arrows at situations, but sometimes people just jump in front of the target!"
