To conduct this study, the researches employed descriptive research design with mixed method approach. The sources of data for the study were grade 11 English textbook, four years’ grade 11 sample test papers and EFL teachers.
The textbook, the sample test papers and EFL teachers were selected through comprehensive sampling technique. In order to gather the required data, document analysis, semi-structured interview and focus group discussion were used.
The data gathered through all the instruments were analysed both qualitatively and quantitatively. To analyse the quantitative data, percentage and value of correlation were calculated, and the data gained from the interview and focus group discussion were analysed qualitatively through narration and thematic descriptions.
