I began writing after I turned 40 realising there was something else for me to do on this planet other than nursing. I have spent most of my adult life working as a nurse and teaching nursing for over 20 years. I spent time in a lot of areas of nursing including teaching, learning so much about the human spirit, life and what we call death. Witnessing the effects of fear, grief, pain and happiness on a daily basis helped me to gain a deep understanding of the human spirit. I truly believe that we all need to grow spiritually, to grow in kindness, peace, joy and happiness. This is the only way we can make our planet a better, more loving place! Writing these stories is my way of trying to open people’s eyes to see how we are shaped as humans to survive through our life events rather love and enjoy them. Personal insight can make a massive difference to experiencing happiness and peace.
