Never one to get tied down into one genre, Steve Metcalf prefers to follow his muse and write whatever story comes to mind. This adventurous journey has led him through a variety of tales from the nonfiction commentary on the videogame industry, "RESET," to the exploration of what might happen to a real-world ghost hunting crew who were faced with a truly malevolent force (the King Paranormal Investigations series including "Coldwater," "Paradox Iron" and "The Hidden Riches of Lord Granite").Steve also manages and contributes to the annual Event short story collection. Each year, a group of writers takes on a dramatic instance (an explosion in an abandoned industrial field, the sighting of a ghost ship, a mysterious blackout) and put their own spin on what might have caused or resulted from that particular event.In addition to winning numerous marketing industry awards, Steve has successfully completed the National Novel Writing Month competition in 2012 and 2013.As with all writers, Steve has a folder full of in-progress stories and to-write plots. He has several projects in flight with various publishers and will continue to act as project manager on The Event until it is no longer fits in his schedule.
