Ode Roman (Author)
Otelio Tortella P. D’ Elea, as Ode Román, is an Italian-born, naturalized American citizen. At the age of 17 he wrote the classic tragedy Thisbe and was awarded as the first youngest European dramatist play-writer. He was a prolific writer who authored 32 final shooting screenplays and volumes of globally-oriented modern English and Italian rhymed poems in metrical form.Ode Román attended the University of Torino in Political Science and worked as a political reporter at the Congress in Rome. There he wrote “Process in the Vatican”, a stage play in the Italian language. Other works include the stage play “Nocturn in Auschitz”, the documentary film “Lest We Forget”, depicting the ceremony of the 1968 Memorial Day for WWII in the American Military Cemetery at Nettuno Anzio in Italy, “The American Memorials”, a historical book about “American Military Cemeteries in Europe”, the lyrics for two operas, and the choreography for a symphonic ecological ballet. At the age of 27, he emigrated to Los Angeles where he resided for 30 years. After that, he returned to Athens, Greece, where he married Sofia Cristopoulos Bolikou, an English- and Italian-speaking Greek girl, educated in the Arts. They became the foster parents of a nice boy, Ayyoub. They lived in the historical center, Thissio, at the foot of the Acropolis of Athens. There he continued to create poetry and screenplays, mostly travelling between Europe and the USA for his work, until his untimely death on the 15 of September 2022. Clearly, he was a unique, deep and flexible thinker and thoughtful and ethical human.Read more about this authorRead less about this author

This beautiful lyrical poem takes one on a vivid journey through earthly cycles of survival and symbiosis between man, nature, plant, and animal species in “jungles. ” Extreme climate change and cataclysmic events occur, resulting in the development of underwater cities for survival.

Ultimately, a new “mankind” attempts to survive as nescient luminous spheres, when a new world order and species in jungles regenerate. .
