Hello there! It's a pleasure to introduce myself and help you grow closer to God. I am Rev. Michael Wuehler, an ordained United Methodist Minister with over 30 years of experience serving churches in Minnesota. I have dedicated my life to spreading God's love and hope in our troubled times.I served as a District Superintendent for seven years during my ministry, leading and guiding the denominational community. Following retirement from active church ministry, I became a Hospice Chaplain, providing spiritual support and care for individuals and families during their most challenging moments. I also took on the role of Bereavement Coordinator and obtained certification as a Grief Counselor (GC-C).Additionally, I led workshops on Compassion Fatigue, Grief Support, the Spirituality of Caregiving, and the creation of grief support teams for medical institutions and care facilities. During this time, the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world, preventing in-person patient contact for chaplains. With these circumstances, I decided to retire from hospice chaplaincy and embark on a new journey as an author.Writing has allowed me to connect with people uniquely, enabling me to share the message of God's boundless love and unwavering hope. Through spiritual devotionals and captivating children's books, I invite readers of all ages to explore their faith and find comfort in God’s presence.My educational background includes a B.S. degree in Philosophy/Psychology from Mankato State University in Minnesota and a Master of Divinity Degree from the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. I hold a deep appreciation and devotion to the Bible, having studied Greek and Hebrew during my time in seminary. This linguistic exploration has enhanced my understanding and appreciation of the Bible's original languages, allowing me to grasp the profound messages within its pages.Each morning, I eagerly rise in anticipation of how God will speak to me through the living words of the ancient Biblical texts. These sacred scriptures hold the stories of our spiritual ancestors and reveal the still-small voice of a loving God waiting to speak to us today. I encourage everyone to engage in daily Bible reading and actively listen to God's words, for in doing so, we open ourselves to divine guidance and everlasting love. My children’s books are not religious, but they are very entertaining. Your children will love them almost as much as you do. I wrote each book after each of my grandchildren; I used their distinct personalities to create the main characters. Each book will find a predominate place in your home and heart.
