Three friends have been travelling the Wildwood for a year in an effort to cull the population of dangerous creatures living within. When they leave the forest looking for help after an attack from a beast long thought to be extinct, they find comrades and enemies in a world terribly different from when they left it.

Tezhic and Riox, sisters-in-arms and Jacks of all Trades, find their people are being hunted. Townspeople are spitting on their name, erasing the renown and reverence the Jacks of all Trades have built over the decades.

Chelk, Draqonian born and raised, finds his King, a man he knows to be just and kind, has gone mad. The King is trying to incite a war across the peaceful lands of Blune to challenge the barbaric Conclaves of Zelic.

To unravel the mystery surrounding the plight against the Jack of all Trades and how they might be connected to the King of Draque, Tezhic, Riox, and Chelk travel across Catacus for answers. They take it upon themselves to protect Catacus and discover who or what is puppeteering the collision of age old conflict and political secrets.
