The people of the Kingdom of Klunkenhausen always believed they lived on a flat, square-shaped world. Their world view suddenly changed the day Royal Explorer Sir Harold Pudding revealed to King Lorenzo, Queen Penelope, and Princess Natalie von Klunkenhausen, "We don't live on a flat world after all!" After realizing they may instead be living on the top side of a cube-shaped, six-sided planet, Princess Natalie joins her parents, Lilly her pet dog, Professor Copernicus Corona, and Sirs Pudding and Dudley Diggesalot on a journey to explore these five other mysterious lands.

As these lands are located down very steep and scary ninety-degree angles from the edges of their kingdom, travel proves to be tricky and potentially dangerous.
