After growing up in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Jeanne Hardt moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in music and acting. Little did she know her true calling would be writing novels.In November of 2010, she had a dream that inspired her first novel. She wrote a complete saga set in Alabama in the 1870's. Total word count for three books ended up being almost 750,000. Her hands flew over the keyboard in a fashion that could only be described as manic, and she completed all three books in less than a year. She revisited this series and was excited to release Book 1, "Deceptions," in 2015. The series grew into seven individual books. The final book in the series, "Redemption," was released in November of 2016. Even so, she has a feeling she'll be paying a visit to some of her Southern Secrets characters in the future. Many of them still have stories to be told.She hopes you'll enjoy reading her stories as much as she's enjoyed writing them. She writes mostly Southern United States historical women's fiction, but has ventured into other genres, including young adult fiction. Most importantly, she does her best to write stories you can hold in your heart as well as your hands.
