Valerie is an avid animal and nature lover, who has spent her life in Florida and New York. She is a long-time Sting and AURORA music fan. She has struggled with depression and general anxiety disorder her entire life. She has been a writer for as long as she can remember. Thriving on both writing and reading from childhood, she has a successful history of writing for numerous venues and various writing styles.Valerie has written for such publications as The Island Ear, where she interviewed and reviewed musical and comedy acts in the New York City metro area, and The Extreme, where she wrote a regular column of positive-focused features.Online she has written for such sites as Wings of Love, The Long Island Guide, for which she wrote a column, and Longisland dot com, where she was the Life Coach expert.Valerie is also an internationally published poet, Certified Life Coach (CPC), and Certified TEFL/ESL Teacher.She has also always had a passion for photography. Her photos have been published on numerous websites such as Sting dot com and Taylorhicks dot com and the 2011 Celebration Town Calendar.Currently, Valerie is working on her next poetry book and her upcoming fantasy, Sophie Seabrook and the Legend of the Arcanis Moon.
