Natalie Beckett worked hard to get through school and graduated with a degree in athletic training and kinesiology. She had been working at a bar to pay her bills and school and was getting offers from several places.

She was excited to receive one from the local professional football team. She was not a fan of football but took the offer for the pay and travel.

Rookie camp would be her first day. Lincoln Monroe is the starting tight end for the Raptors.

When he meets Natalie at the bar he is interested immediately. She is too.

Natalie doesn't even realize Lincoln and his friends are players until her best friend tells her. Natalie decides even though it is written in her contract she can't be involved with a player to start seeing him anyway.

She intends on it just being for fun and break it off before she starts at camp. Natalie never expected to actually fall for Lincoln but she does and falls hard.

As camp gets closer she has to tell him about her job and contract. They decided to continue their relationship and keep it quiet for now.

They spend a whole season hiding and sneaking. They even manage to keep it from their friends, the whole team and the owner.

Lincoln wants Natalie to quit as things continue to heat up between them, he hates watching the rapport she has with the other players. Natalie continues to refuse, she loves her job and tells him he needs to learn to not be so jealous.

She worked too hard for this. After an amazing season Natalie and Lincoln can't hide anymore.

Turns out no one is really surprised. They didn't hide things as well as they thought.
