Nancy Kuykendall was born in 1957 in Akron, Ohio. She grew up in Ohio, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and California. Nancy studied music then taught from her private home studio for thirty years...specifically piano, electric bass guitar, and soprano recorder. She also taught classroom music for ten of those years in a private school. Nancy has served as pianist for a number of churches, as well as a bass player on church worship teams. She has performed solo, in duo format with her husband, and in various bands for a wide variety of events throughout her life. After retiring from teaching in 2012, Nancy seriously pursued her dream of writing. She writes both nonfiction and fiction. Her inspiration comes from her surroundings, circumstances, life events, people and pets, and her relationship with God. She and her musician husband make their home in North Dakota with their silver tabby cat, Merri.Aside from writing, Nancy enjoys music performance with her husband, reading, knitting, crochet, photography, fitness walking, rambling walks through nearby fields, time with family, and quiet nights at home.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
