How to Surf the Waves: A Sensory and Emotional Regulation Curriculum is a groundbreaking program designed to empower children, the adults who support them, and neurodivergent people of all ages with essential skills for emotional regulation and personal success. Unlike traditional approaches that pathologize neurodivergent behavior, this innovative curriculum treats children and adults as partners in their own growth, recognizing that they are striving to adapt and flourish in their own way, as well as teaching the basics of emotional regulation and brain function.

Using the metaphor of surfing, readers can explore the ebb and flow of their emotions as a natural part of life. The program equips them with evidence-based tools and strategies to effectively ride the waves of their feelings, ultimately leading to greater personal fulfillment and achievement.

Through the curriculum's engaging lessons and activities, readers learn to predict, navigate, and triumph over life's ever-changing challenges. .
