Sean has never felt so lost in his life. Not after the death of his father when he was young or when his mother chose to remarry, leaving him questioning his place in his own family.

Lately, he has been questioning his place and purpose in the world in general. The college career that he agreed to because it was what everyone wanted him to do, never really panned out.

He felt like his return home from college was nothing less than an admission of defeat. The girl of his dreams was no longer talking to him.
