Teressa is proud of her Swedish heritage. Her grandparents journeyed from Sweden to North America in search of a brighter future. Her formative years were spent in an oil town near the town Midwest, Wyoming. She shared her childhood with a younger brother and two sisters. When she was nine, her family moved to Meeteetse, Wyoming, where she graduated from high school. While college in Casper, Wyoming, beckoned, she chose to set it aside, merely six credits away from graduation, to become a mother.Teressa is the proud mother of 5 children; 4 are still with her, while one tragically fell victim to SIDS. Among her children, 3 were delivered by an attending midwife, while 2 entered the world in a hospital. She passionately advocates for Home Schooling and Home Birthing.She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming. Her most cherished role has always been that of a mother.
