Lloyd grew up in Lehi, Utah. He is the son of Dr. Kent B. andLois P. Davis—he has four siblings: Rob, Ryan, Lynette, andDarin (Dude).He pursued his academic studies in psychology andpolitical science at both Utah State University and Utah ValleyUniversity. Lloyd married his late wife Cheryl in 1984. Theyresided in Lehi and then American Fork, Utah, with their threeboys, Derrick, Daniel, who is deceased, and Samuel. Lloydagain moved back to Lehi, Utah, after he married his secondwife Robin in 1998, who has since passed away. They residedthere with their children for twenty-one years.Lloyd has been self-employed and is the original ownerand founder of Royal Crown Dental Lab as well as the owner ofAll-American Deli and Republic Strategies. Lloyd has workedin sales, business management, and public affairs.Lloyd has also been very involved in politics. He hasworked with many political campaigns and has run for publicoffice himself. He served as a state and county delegate as well asa voting precinct chair. Politics is one of Lloyd’s great passions.What is most important to Lloyd is his faith and family.Family gives him the most joy in life. He would rather spendtime with his family than do anything else. Lloyd also lovesHarley-Davidson motorcycles and going on road trips. He likesgolf, listening to music, target shooting, photography, reading,and writing. It was after Lloyd’s first wife, Cheryl, passed awaythat he decided he needed to write this book. His departedloved ones are the inspiration for it. It is Lloyd’s passion and hispurpose to have this book finally published. Writing this bookhas been a work of love.
