I started writing when I was around seven. In school any time we had to write a paragraph about something I would write several pages. I truly discovered my love for fantasy after my parents divorce. One of my teachers gave me a paper back book called David and the Phoenix. I still have that old book and read it quite often. I suggest it to anyone who loves fantasy. I have always had a vivid imagination. It helped to alleviate my boredom. Especially during the summer. I lived out in the country and didn't have anyone my age to play with. Once my dad got into church that got me into quite a bit of trouble. Anything fantasy or sci-fi, etc. was considered witchcraft. I was often accused of being possessed by demons. This often led to me being beaten. I would often write fantasy stories in school. One of those stories was the basis for my series legend of the Star Strider.
