Calvin L. Benjamin is a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, Information Security Subject Matter Expert, Risk Management Professional, Part-time Educator, and Business Consultant. He has served in many roles such as Information Technology Professional, Cybersecurity SME, Leadership, Operations Security, and Training Coordinator. He has performed these roles as a Federal Contractor/Consultant for various organizations including the Department of Defense (US Army, US Navy, Missile Defense Agency), NASA (Marshall Space Flight Center), and the Department of Justice (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Calvin is also a military veteran who served in the South Carolina Army National Guard and the US Navy from 1985 to 1998. His military service in the Navy has led him to 26 different countries. He was stationed in Holy Loch, Scotland (UK), and La Maddalena, Italy (Northern Sardinia) aboard the USS Simon Lake AS-33 (my first and best ship). All of the countries he has visited resulted from sailing activities on this ship.
