Robyn Itule has always wanted to be a writer and author. The giant storage tub of works her parents kept supports this point. For 20 years, she worked as a corporate communicator, primarily for global tech companies. While that was a mostly fun experience for her, she eventually found herself (more than) a bit burned out and disappointed that there wasn't more opportunity for rhyming and deliberate punning in her role. So, Robyn decided to do more storytelling involving rhyming and punning and wrote a book about real characters in a way that's accessible to young readers.Though she doesn't have the degree to prove it, Robyn is an historian. Turns out it's a like-mother-like-daughter thing. Her mom actually has the degree to prove it, whereas Robyn only has the data from completed (and repeated) listens to lecture series and history books on Audible as proof points. She likes to think her contributions to her daughter's middle school history homework on subject matter like the fall of Rome and Charlemagne count as well, but she needs to check grades before really committing to this point. Really, Robyn's more of an accidental historian and history nerd just trying to get her daughter to understand how funny it is that Honorious thinks his pet chicken is lost.
