Eleven-year-old Jack Hobbins dreads spending a long snowy Saturday with his crazy old Great-Aunt Jane until sparks begin to fly in the kitchen. Her writing is greatly influenced by her time spent as a child in rural England where she played with fairies, centaurs, and dragons.
