Jacqueline grew up in Harlesden in North West London and has been an avid reader from a young age. Her first piece of published writing came in the form of a poem, where she was a co-author in an anthology of poems in 2015. Two years later she made a conscious contribution to be part of an anthology called Blind Spot. What The Eyes Didn't See (vol 1) This is where she shares a story of being the 'middle child' in the family the emotional and psychological challenges she faced and how she overcame them through "forgiveness."In 2017, Jacqueline decided it was time to write her book, published in 2018. Based on her mission to help young girls and women living in toxic relationships, she wrote her debut novella, Walk Quiet Run Quick. Walk Quiet Run Quick won her 'Best Author Of The Year 2019' for its storyline highlighting what coercive controlling behaviour is and how easy it can be as a young person to fall into a relationship that becomes toxic. She wrote this book to educate and create awareness so young people can feel empowered knowing they can avoid becoming a victims of abuse. Walk Quiet Run Quick, has also been featured in online magazines: Amor and Female First.As Jacqueline continues to advocate against VAWG (violence against women and girls) she has written and personally published - The Relationship Jigsaw. 8 Key Pieces For A Healthy Happy Relationship. This introductory educational self-help book goes beneath the superficial issues surrounding relationships, providing guidelines towards relationship wellbeing. In recognition of her dedication to helping women and girls through her writing, in March 2020 Jacqueline was honoured with a 'Humanity Award' for her outstanding contribution and excellence by the Multicultural Organisation 'Women & Girls Empowerment Support' (W.A.G.E.S)Jacqueline is also a speaker on EMPOWERING women and girls and on topics related to her books.
