Birgueleny Da Gloria, author, was born in São Tomé and Príncipe. At just one year old, she moved to Angola with her parents and three other siblings, where she spent her formative years. Three years later, her family welcomed their fifth child. However, when Birgueleny was 11 years old, her mother separated from her father, and they returned to São Tomé with her and three of her siblings, while the eldest was sent to Portugal. This tumultuous period coincided with the outbreak of war reaching Luanda, the city they had left behind.After completing her high school education, Birgueleny embarked on a new chapter by moving to the UK in January 2006 to pursue her studies in English. Following her linguistic pursuits, she furthered her education with degrees in business and management, specializing in business administration.Writing had always been a cherished dream for Birgueleny, and recently, she realized this dream by publishing "Grace-Stephanie Diary," a delightful collection of coloring books and short stories inspired by her daughter. As she delves into the world of children's literature, Birgueleny also harbors aspirations to explore novel writing and other genres.Her creative wellspring draws from a myriad of sources - her own life experiences, the joys and sorrows she's encountered, the boundless inspiration of her daughter, and the rich tapestry of individuals who populate her world.Beyond her writing pursuits, Birgueleny finds solace and joy in maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise, embracing the elegance of fashion, finding rhythm in music and dance, sharing laughter with loved ones, immersing herself in diverse cultures, and cherishing moments with her family.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
