Christine Fisher defines herself in this way, “I am a simple, ordinary gal, a child of God, a lover of Jesus, a daughter, wife and mother. I am also an introvert who enjoys sharing God-stories through writing and in small intimate settings.”Christine models her life after the ministry of Jesus. She serves others in little things, like Christmas caroling to shut-ins, holding the tiniest of babies in the NICU, giving rides to those without transportation, serving in the soup kitchen, holding the hands of friends, and praying over strangers. She finds joy in being an encourager by sending cards, praying, visiting, and providing affirming words. Through the written word, Christine shares what is in her heart about Jesus, hoping to inspire and encourage others in their faith journey. She has the “eyes of God” and sees His presence, goodness, and grace through the ordinary things in life, whether it be a seashell on the beach or a boulder on the mountaintop. Being able to express her thoughts in writing and through the spoken word has helped her deepen her faith and grow closer in her relationship with Jesus.Christine and her husband, Mark, live in upstate New York.
