When I was younger there were probably hundreds of things that I wanted to be when I grew up. From dreams of becoming a chef, artist, lawyer, even a neurosurgeon at one point which is rather surprising considering the sight of anything remotely flesh-like makes me bolt any room immediately. Becoming a writer was basically something that I never thought about until I was maybe 11 years old. I loathed writing with a passion before then yet loved reading which is quite ironic when I think about it now. Nevertheless, one creative writing assignment changed everything for me because the thing that I once loathed with a passion became a passion that is now apart of me. I began writing any and everything in my spare time from miscellaneous poems to rewriting endings to stories in my own desired versions and finally creating my own stories pulled from the never-ending jumbled scenarios of my mind. Reading and then writing became my one outlet where I could escape from harsh reality and transport myself essentially anywhere and if a story that I was reading wasn't where I wanted to be at the time then I could create my own world, my own fantasy. It is my hope to share some of the many stories that I have in my mind and topics that have helped me help and entertain others so that they too can transport and explore anywhere.
