Allen W. Baker is a native Texan but has lived most of his life in Arkansas. He completed a 25-year career with the federal government – some military and some civilian – and then started another career as a teacher. He now has over 20 years experience teaching Computer Science classes at the college level. He is a committed student of the Bible and has taught many Bible classes at his home church. His focus is on discipleship and is working to help churches everywhere make committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Allen and his wife Denise have been married for 50 years and have raised three children who are now grown and serving the Lord with their own families. They have six wonderful grandchildren. Allen and Denise have lived in Arkansas, Colorado, Texas, and West Germany, but they call Northwest Arkansas home. Allen enjoys family gatherings, good food, good books, and good movies.
