" Flo Conway, chief editor, Stillpoint Press."Alexandra is a relatively unique and special visual poet of considerable distinction." David Caddy, Tears in the fence.Alexandra Psaropoulou is a visual poet who has been composing poems and canvas paintings ever since a young girl. Later on, becoming a graphic artist and collaborating with publishing companies in New York and Greece, she started creating her own style of poetry and computer designs which express her inspiration powerfully and enhance the experience of the reader. She often has visions which connect her to a higher Source full of Light. After losing her artwork in a house fire which destroyed everything except her poems with graphics saved online, she decided to focus solely on her graphic designs and poetry books, which she has been working on for many years already. She has been creating "The Flying" series since 2014. Alexandra was born in the year of the horse of fire, in Greece, where she spent many years living in the wild mountains of the island Hydra. Later, she attended St. Mary's in Wiltshire and studied at Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge. She lived in Paris and New York, before returning to Greece to settle. Her father was a renowned poet and author and had a successful publishing company in Greece. Her mother was a ballet dancer, critic, and teacher as well as president of the Dance Union in Greece. Her family social circles, ever since a little girl, were rich with artists, writers, and academics. She lives with her husband, a classical guitar soloist and four children near the Temple of Poseidon, by the sea and publishes her own graphic poems on Amazon. Each of Alexandra's books is a symphony composed of a long poem accompanied by her graphic illustrations that convey “The Flying”. Alexandra uses a pioneering, innovative approach to express her messages, combining verse and visual to create a multi-media form of poetry. alexpsaropoulou@gmail.comhttps://alexandrabooks.info/https://www.facebook.com/Alexandra-Books-203276946788201https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/8386028.Alexandra_Psaropoulouhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/alexandra-psaropoulou-79921879/https://twitter.com/AlexPsaropoulouhttps://www.instagram.com/alexandrabooks.info/?hl=elRead more about this authorRead less about this author
