Andrea Cox is a Canadian born author and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is the founder of Cox Compassionate Planning Services (Preplan First), a company founded in 2021 to help families and communities fully organize their affairs and coordinate Celebrations of Life with loved ones at the time of a passing. She is Licensed in both Alberta and British Columbia Canada to sell prepaid funeral home packages and holds a double license in Alberta.Andrea wrote the book, Final Departure, in hopes that families would consider putting a plan in place today and then living their best lives, knowing that tomorrow is not guaranteed.For over four years, Andrea has been working with Getting Your Affairs In Order setting up pre-paid funeral and memorial packages in Alberta and BC. Her passion is educating and helping people normalize discussions around the topic of death through seminars/webinars and various social media platforms.
