This study was carried out in a feed mill with the aim of increasing the size of the feed mix from 800 kg to 900 kg and reducing the mixing time from 4 minutes to 3 minutes, increasing productivity without losing the quality of the mix. For this test, Microtracers® was used, an analytical marker that serves to validate the feed mix as well as to assess cross-contamination between one beat and the next.
