was just getting good. She had her own nice place, a new job at a prestigious art gallery, and a million followers on social media.

However, after her grandmother’s passing, she had to make time to drive down to her family’s home a couple hours south in Imperial to help her mom clean the place up and get it ready to sell. Shortly after arriving she finds herself stuck in the basement after the door closes behind her, waiting for her mother to come down and let her out.

Little does she know her life is about to change when it is a stranger, and not her mother, that appears on the other side. An independent, modern girl with little connection to her roots, Kaylin is suddenly stuck in the year 1924 when her Italian great-grandmother is head of the household.
