After avoiding relationships for five years because her last one ended catastrophically, Amelia doesn’t plan on letting her meddling mom set her up. They’ll fake date, and then go their separate ways. But as their vacation goes on, she brings out a side of him he never knew he needed, and he starts to forget that this thing was never real in the first place.

He could see this going on forever, if only Amelia would be willing to make things real. But her ex did damage, so much so that Daniel isn’t sure if she’ll ever change her mind, no matter how much he wants her to.
