Welcome to my page! Thank you for taking the time to visit.I am William S. Allin. I grew up in the South Wales' Valleys and have never found a good enough reason to leave. I spent forty years being paid to write, but always for other people, and decided it was time to do something for myself. One of my problems is that I keep starting new novels. Since publishing 'Sikes' and 'Dicey' in 2013, I began work on numerous new stories, I know what happens and how I want them to end, but never completed them. A wise man often told me "Get it done or, you know what you're like, you'll never do it"* This good advice hit home in autumn 2020 after I had a medical emergency. Without boring you too much, I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for the quick reactions of my wife and the expert care of the NHS - thanks all. During my recuperation I decided I would focus on finishing my books and see if anyone likes them. I hope you do.Four books to date -SIKES:Misconstrued DICEY: TrailingGARGAR : CommitmentTogether these books form first 3 parts of the "Growing Up" series following the friends on a series of (mis) adventures as their road to adulthood.The fourth book is "A Song For The Season" which was conceived as a short story for Christmas but as the characters developed so the story grew. I am developing a sequel involving Jazz and Niall.My next book will be "Factory Fortnight" a holiday book - 1 resort, 14 nights, millions of tourists, countless stories.
