East Coast native Scarlet Robbins was born on March 31, 1977 in Baltimore, Maryland. She now resides in the Midwest. She is of German, Dutch-Irish, and Cherokee descent. Scarlet has faced many tragic adversities during both her childhood and adult life. However, she has learned how to persevere and overcome. She was a graduate in the top half of her high school class with numerous achievements including "A" honor roll and creative writing certificates. She also holds a Business Degree in Computer Networking and Administration.With over four decades of accomplished writing under her belt, Scarlet is a literary consummate. After composing her first poem at the age of six, she knew early on that her love of expressive writing would become her passion. She is a voracious reader and enjoys many genres of literature. However, poetry will always hold her heart. Scarlet currently writes under the poetry, paranormal romance, and erotica genres.In addition to her writing, Scarlet's second passion has always been music. She plays the guitar, keyboard, and drums. Although being a rock & roll girl at heart, her musical tastes are vast and range from The Animals to Zydeco, and everything else in-between. Her favorite band is KISS and she has a love for The Monkees / Michael Nesmith.As a lover of the visual arts, Scarlet enjoys drawing, painting, and being an amateur photographer. She is a movie buff and a comedy junkie. She loves all animals, with tigers and manatees being her favorites.She is a cancer survivor / fighter and supports cancer research. She is also a chronic illness warrior and supports research for Lupus, Diabetes, and Chronic Kidney Disease. Scarlet is also a supporter of domestic and childhood violence survivors.She enjoys experiencing nature in all its beauty, particularly when it rains / thunderstorms, and when the leaves change to their fall colors.
